Facebook is testing a new video format called Facebook Premieres that will let video creators, publishers and shows post prerecorded video as live footage. The prerecorded videos will play similar to a livestream, allowing viewers the chance to interact with the video as it is broadcast on the site.
Facebook Story Advertising
Another feature Facebook is testing on its 150 million daily active Facebook Story users is Facebook Story Advertising. Users can skip the 5- to 15-second video ads. Advertisers can easily extend their Instagram Stories ads to this new surface, or have Facebook automatically reformat their News Feed ads with color-matched borders and text at the bottom.
