IGTV - Instagram videos up to an hour!

Instagram is rolling out IGTV globally the next weeks! Instagram Television or IGTV is a new app for watching long-form, vertical video from your favorite Instagram creators. While there’s a stand-alone IGTV app, you’ll also be able to watch from within the Instagram app so the entire community can use it from the very start. Unlike on Instagram, videos aren’t limited to one minute. Instead, each video can be up to an hour long.
As the name already gives away, IGTV is bringing features of Instagram and television together. Anyone can start a channel by uploading your own IGTV videos in the app or on the web.
Currently there are no immediate plans to pay for content on IGTV and advertising. But we expect to be seeing ads or some other kind of monetization of the feature within the next year or so.
